Methyl Methacrylate (MMA) is a colorless liquid with a sharp, fruity odor. It is used to make resins, plastics, and plastic dentures. In addition, MMA is also used in the manufacture of plastic with an acrylic resin base. Furthermore, it may be used in the automotive industry coatings and sealants, in leather, paper and textile surface treatments, in acrylate adhesives, and in latex paints, lacquers, and enamel resins.
